DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL:

Pickup is from Kigali Airport or Airport in Kigali. Areas outside Kigali will attract a surcharge for the pickup. Departure Time: 7 am, 8 am, 9 am (Monday to Sunday).

Hotel pickups commence prior to this time. Arrival back to Kigali.

YOUR TRIP ITINERARY:

Day 1:

  • Pick up from Kigali Airport/Lodge, journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via a scenic route.
  • Cross into Uganda at Katuna or Chanika border, with a stop at Kabale or Kisoro.
  • Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge or Trekkers Tavern Lodge.

Day 2: 

  • Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast.
  • Briefing at the park headquarters, followed by a trek to your assigned gorilla family.
  • One hour with mountain gorillas, capturing photos and observing their activities.
  • Return to the park headquarters for certificates, dinner, and overnight.

Day 3:

  • Drive back to Kigali Airport/Hotel after breakfast.
  • End of the 3-day Uganda gorilla safari from Kigali.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  1. Confirmation within 24 hours (or 48 hours if booked within 7 days of travel).
  2. Minimum drinking age: 18 years.
  3. Maximum 12 people per group booking.
  4. Transfer duration’s are approximate and depend on the time of day and traffic conditions.
  5. Visa requirements are the traveler’s responsibility.
  6. A current valid passport is required on the day of travel.
